"No, no it’s fine." Jei shook red paint from her hands, a hollow chuckle escaping her lips. She lowered her gaze and took a deep breath, determined not to cry in front of them. "No, no, you don’t have to punish anyone, I’m sure it was…An accident." She ignored the ripple of laughter and cleared her throat, gladly accepting the permission to leave early. Stepping back to her desk, she snatched her camera and hurried out of the classroom, sinking to the floor in the hallway and bursting into tears. She sobbed freely, red painted hands tainting her pale cheeks.

Jr was running late, and per his best friend’s advice, when running late- might as well not show up at all. He skipped his first class, sitting at the bottom of the staircase around back and stuffing down a pastry he’d picked up on the way, careful to stay out of the sight of any teachers. He only paused when he heard the crying. Wailing would have been a better term. Jonghyun knit his eyebrows and leaned around the corner, blinking at the image of a tiny girl. She was shaking, he could see it from his position at the end of the hall. She was also covered in…Blood?! Jr took off down the hall, but as he stepped closer the smell of paint hit him - and so did the realization of what had actually happened. “Hey…” His voice was stilted and awkward. “Want a bite?”

Jennie Kim. '96 liner. Misjudged.
To some she’s an angel, to some she’s the devil, in reality she’s just a kid, trying to get through her final year of high school as quickly and quietly as possible. Give her a hand?
